Today, it seems the rhythm is faster and the steps of life more complicated. Long-term stress triggers our adrenal glands to pump out abnormally large amounts of stress hormone "cortisol", raising blood pressure and blood sugar, lowering our immune response and making us more vulnerable to burnout and even disease.

Stress and fatigue are unpleasant when we are heading in to our workplace and meeting. Know that they can have health repercussions down the road.
